Frequently Asked Questions 
How do I join the club?
If you would like to join the club, please contact our secretary via the contact us page. They will be able to confirm if we have any current vacancies and how to join the waiting list. 

What are the mooring fees?
GBC charge £32 per foot for boats moored with us.

What are the boat maintenance requirements? 
All Boats and any trailers are expected to be kept in good, clean and working order. Tarpaulins are to be removed in spring and boats to only be in trailer section during winter. 

Does the club allow pets?
GBC welcomes members pets, however dogs must be kept on a lead by someone able to control it. Owners are expected to clean up after their dogs.

Regulations for moored boats
 Boat insurance is needed for all moorings at Govilon Boat Club, the cost of insurance will vary depending on boat size, type, power and use. You will also need a boat license and safety certificate.
